The Meade ND96 Series 4000 Moon Filter 07531 is a neutral density filter that has been designed to transmit light uniformly across the entire visual spectrum. The Meade ND96 Moon Filter serves as an excellent filter to reduce glare when observing the Moon with larger telescopes. The Meade 4000 ND96 Moon Filter may also be employed in the splitting of close double stars where 1 of the binary pair significantly exceeds the other in brightness. The special purpose Meade Moon Filter for Telescopes features 13% light transmission and is compatible with all Meade Series 4000 and Series 5000 eyepieces.
