Water for Elephants

Jacob Jankowski (Robert Pattinson) has lost his parents, his childhood home and has nowhere to go. Hitching a ride on a passing train he finds himself in a world of drifters, misfits the home of a second-rate circus struggling to stay adrift during the Great Depression. Jacob a veterinary student who almost earned his degree is put in charge of caring for the circus animals. He meets lovely Marlena (Reese Witherspoon) the star of the equestrian act and wife of the charismatic, twisted and violent circus boss Angus (Christoph Waltz). Jacob soon falls in love with Marlena while working together to train Rosie a stubborn elephant who is the new promising act of the circus.
