I recommend buying it
This little tripod is amazing and fun to have. My husband and I took it with on our honeymoon stuffed in a hiking bag or my handbag so that both of us and the beautiful backdrops can be in the photos. It worked like a charm on our hikes hanging from tree branches, poles and railings, each time snapping perfect photos from interesting angles. The gorillapod is really stable and it works excellent with our compact digital camera.
